Privacy Policy

Reckonary is designed to need as little of your data as possible. This policy explains what we do and don't collect.

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you. The calculators run entirely in your browser — the numbers you type are used to compute a result on your own device and are never sent to or stored on our servers.

What we store on your device

We save a single preference in your browser's local storage: whether you chose light or dark mode. It stays on your device, isn't shared, and you can clear it any time through your browser settings.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used in aggregate — which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and what device they use. It sets its own cookies and processes this data on Google's servers. We use it only to improve the calculators; we never sell your data, and the numbers you enter into a calculator are never sent to it.

You can opt out by blocking cookies in your browser or by installing Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.

We don't currently show ads. If that changes, we'll update this page to describe the cookies involved before any ads appear.

Some pages may link to outside sources we cite. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which we don't control.

Children

Reckonary is a general-audience tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information.
